Hudson Insurance Federation of New Jersey, Inc. (HIF) is a member driven trade association that supports leaders in the insurance industry of the Jersey City metro region and the State of New Jersey.

All aspects and segments of the insurance industry are welcome to participate in HIF. Our goal is to have members with expertise spanning the entire insurance industry, including, but not limited to: underwriting, claims, reinsurance, actuarial, legal and compliance.

HIF supports the insurance industry through educational programs focusing on important industry trends and current developments, by:

• discussing the major ideas and trends in the industry;
• providing a forum for interaction with regulators;
• advancing executive networking and professional development;  and  
• the promotion of insurance industry career opportunities for students, minorities and women.

One of HIF’s goals is to partner with institutions of higher learning to foster career opportunities for newcomers to the insurance industry.
